Users who have purchased DDT2000 will receive free technical support via e-mail. to get an answer please follow the guidelines below.

  • Use the correct address. Registered users must be sure to send their technical support questions to support@ddt2000.com.

  • Use the correct return address. The Reply-To address must be set correctly if our answer should have any chance of getting back to you. You might not believe it, but about 15% of e-mails have incorrect reply-to/sender addresses. Please make sure your address is correct.

  • Generalize your problem/question. Please spend some time to think of what's really the problem and how to describe it as precisely as possible. This will make sure you get a correct answer and it will save time both for you and us.

  • Write short. Do not be overly verbose in telling us your problem. Generally no question should be more than about six lines of text. (100 words or so).

  • Version information. Always include which version of DDT2000 you are using. It is also appropriate to include what print drivers you are using is the problem involves reports. Also include your operating system version (95/98/NT) and any other specific settings you may be using.

  • Serial Number. If you have received a serial number please include it in the subject of the message.

  • Read the FAQ and documentation. At least half of the questions we get are already answered in the FAQ or documentation. We know it's often faster to just send a quick e-mail to ask a question rather than looking it up yourself but it generates a lot of unnecessary work.

If you follow the above guidelines, we will keep our promise of a one-day-feedback time.
